Tom Ridge Environmental Center

- The center opened on 26 May 2006
- 75 foot tall observation tower
- 65,000 square feet of interpretive exhibits
- Named after former Pennsylvania Governor
- 8 laboratories for environmental education
Presque Isle Lighthouse
Details
- Light was first lit on July 12, 1873
- Tower height 68 feet
- Range 16 nmi (18 mi/30 km)
- Open to public tours from Memorial Day through Labor Day on weekends
- Added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 4, 1983
